How to use
1. Pick sounds. Click a sound's name to add it to the loop. Click the ▶ number on the left of a sound to preview it without adding it.
2. Build the loop. The Loop section lists the sounds in play order. Use the ⠿ handle or the ▲ ▼ buttons to reorder. remove takes one out.
3. Choose a repeat mode. Under Settings:
- Number of beats — plays a fixed number of beats, cycling the loop.
- Duration — plays for a fixed amount of time (in whole seconds), cycling the loop.
- Beat as group — one tick = one full pass of the loop. BPM here means groups per minute. Each sound plays at a position inside that tick, set by its % field.
- Duration as group — same as above, but the run stops after a fixed time (in whole seconds) instead of a fixed number of groups.
4. Set the tempo. Under BPM points, each row is a tempo marker. With one marker, tempo stays constant. Add more markers to ramp linearly between them. The field between two markers decides how much time (or how many beats/groups) that ramp segment takes. The label of that field changes with the repeat mode.
5. Percentages (group modes only). When Beat as group or Duration as group is active, each loop item gets a % field. It decides when inside the group window the sound fires. Default is an even split. The line under the loop list shows the running total — it can be under 100 (leftover is silence) but going over 100 triggers a warning and extra sounds fire together at the end of the window.
6. Optional bookends. Under Bookends you can pick a sound that plays once when you press Start, a delay before the beats kick in (default 2 seconds), and a sound that plays after the last beat.
7. Start. Press Start to listen. Stop ends it early. The status line under the buttons shows the beat/group count, current tempo, and elapsed time. The progress bar below it shows how far into the run you are and how much is left.
8. Save or share. At the bottom, Generate share link encodes your current setup into the URL. Copy it and share, or bookmark it to come back later. Because it stores sound names, moving or renaming files on disk keeps the link working as long as names stay the same.
